The Vic Kregel EMGA Championship

In 2005, the Eisenhower Men's Golf Association decided it was time to recognize a golfer who, for years, had been a highly successful amateur golf competitor around the world, golf coach at several U.S universities, and held in the highest esteem by the members of the Eisenhower Golf Club and the Colorado golfing community.

Vic's contributions to golf began as a boy in Western Pennsylvania and continued throughout his military career and a retirement that enabled Vic to help hundreds of golfers enjoy the game and improve their skills.

Vic's love for and mastery of the game of golf are recognized in perpetuity through The Vic Kregel EMGA Championship.

Vic's daughter Kathy and son-in-law Jim Smith generously contributed the cut crystal trophy and individual cut crystal trophies for the championship flight winners; trophies for the second, third and fourth flight winners; and the display case that contains them in Ike's Grill.
